- Sky-Shed Pod Personal Observatory which sits atop a 10′x10′ Wooden Deck. The Observatory is surrounded by a curtain rod system which allows light blocking curtains to be put into place in the case of neighboring porch lights. This is by far, my most prized piece of equipment because it allows me to get up and running in a matter of seconds using my permanently mounted equipment. Before owning a Skyshed Pod, setting up my equipment for a night of imaging took as much as 1 – 2 hours to complete.
